We don't cheat up here. We follow the German Ice Wine laws to determine our harvest date. What does that mean? It must be after Nov 15th, the fruit must be ripe and clean with no botrytis, harvest and pressing must be below 17 degrees F. It was so cold in 2007 that we only got 6.5 cases out of 1000 lbs of fruit. The juice was very tasty though. To help everyone appreciate Ice Wine - we are taking off the chastity belt and allow you taste it in the Wine Bar. Of course, we have to charge but we also throw in a great dessert from the Underground Cheesecake Company. Stop by and taste ice wine. It's a rare opportunity.
