2007 Riesling $18.00 (SOLD OUT) 7th Hill Farm Old Mission Peninsula Short Version: We said it last year, too: Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy! Long Version: This is the same wonderful, 2 acre vineyard that we were lauding last year as one of the best sites to grow Riesling in the country. The vines were giggling in 2006, this vintage they have broken out in a hilarious roar. 2007 was a lot warmer and we ended up with a lush, vibrant Riesling with a touch of sweetness to balance the energy of the acids. The higher alcohol in 2007 adds a roundness and intensity to the wine. I am very confident that this is a wine you will want to taste again in a few years. We only bottled 300 cases, so grab enough to witness the remarkable qualities of Riesling aging.
